We are constantly looking for special people who make that extra effort to ensure our guests receive the best service and advice while staying with us. General Information
- Seasonal work - the main tourist season at Milford Sound Lodge runs from early October to early May. We operate year round but our staff requirements are reduced between May and October.
- All positions at Milford Sound Lodge are "live-in" with accommodation and meals provided by the company on site for a nominal fee.
- Rosters vary depending on the position, but are designed to allow time for employees to enjoy the surrounding wilderness and many activities, or to escape from Milford for a burst of city living.
- We will only accept applications from overseas applicants if they already have a valid transferable work visa.
Reception / Front line staff - working at reception requires outgoing people with good communication skills and plenty of patience, as you spend most of the day helping and advising people from all around the world. A few café skills such as espresso, bar and food service would be very handy, and a drivers license would top it off quite nicely.
Housekeeping - An essential part of any accommodation business, and much valued members of the Lodge team. If you are a house-proud kind of person who has a great attention to detail and a penchant for sparkling surfaces, we want you now!!
