Lodge Facilities & Food Options

Your room or site is only part of what Milford Lodge has to offer you during your stay in Milford Sound. After your day enjoying our beautiful home’s many activities and attractions you will find the facilities you need to make your stay a memorable one.

Food and Beverage

Start your day with a basic breakfast and a good coffee at the Lodge. And finish it with a nice cool drink from reception in the evening. We also have a small shop with basic food supplies and, of course, chocolate bars!

Guest Lounge with Internet Access

Relax, discuss the day’s activities, have a read, catch up on your email and recharge the batteries before turning in for the night. Our guest lounge offers loads of super comfy sofas, satellite internet access via our computers or wireless and no television to distract you from the calm that is Milford Sound in the evening.

Guest Kitchen

All guests enjoy access to a well appointed kitchen (see features below). Understandably this area can come under some strain in the peak of season but we are working on plans for renovations that will make more facilities available for guests.

Laundry

Catch up on your washing or dry your wet walking boots — our laundry room offers 2 commercial washing machines and dryers, and a drying room for those wet boots.

Guest Shuttle

Shuttles run through the evening into the township and there is also a pick up for all Milford Track walkers coming off the boat from Sandfly Point.

Blue Duck Cafe & Bar

Located in the heart of the Milford Sound Village, Blue Duck Café and Bar provides a warm, welcoming environment to settle in and enjoy some famous Fiordland hospitality. Open for breakfast, lunch and evening dining in Milford township.
