Learn more about our COVID-19 policy and your stay at Milford Sound Lodge.

From 3rd December 2021, following government guidelines and a robust risk assessment, all guests 12yrs + will require a Vaccine Pass to stay at Milford Sound Lodge. We have fully reviewed all the New Zealand government and Ministry of Health government advice and believe this is the best method to protect our guests, our team and our remote community from the highly contagious Delta variant of COVID-19 within the Covid-19 Protection Framework.

All our team interacting with guests will have their Vaccine Pass by 3rd December.

All guests will be required to have their Covid-19 Vaccine Pass sighted at check-in.

Please understand that these new requirements will take us more time at check-in than usual, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you do not have a Vaccine Pass, we regret that for the safety of all our guests, our team, and our remote Milford community, you will not be able to stay with us at this time. In this case, our friendly reservations team can help you re-book your visit for a later date (once you have a Vaccine Pass), or we will provide you with a full refund if your booking was made with us prior to 3 December 2021. If your booking was not made directly with us, please talk to your point of purchase to seek a full refund.

If you have made your booking after the 3rd of December and cannot show your valid Covid-19 Vaccine Pass at check-in, then your booking will be treated as a same day cancellation and no refund will be given.

If you would like to discuss further, please ask our team for one of the owner’s email addresses.

We appreciate your understanding.
