Mitre Peak Helicopter Flight

Depart the Helipad and fly over the majestic Milford Sound to the world famous Mitre Peak. If the weather is fine, you will land upon the Pembroke Glacier for stunning photo opportunities and memorable views of Milford Sound and the surrounding landscape. After this you will return to Milford Sound via Harrison Cove. A beautiful way to see the lie of the land.

Glaciers Galore

The Glaciers Galore flight departs the helipad at Milford Sound and flies you past the Bowen Falls, then up the Harrison Valley and past Lake Never Never, which time seems to have forgotten. Then it’s onto the breath taking Tutoko Glacier where you will land if the weather is fine. The photos you will take from this vantage point will be the ones you remember forever, as you look out across the mountain ranges and see the land that was carved out by slow but ever moving glacial shifts.

After this once in a lifetime flight you will return to Milford Sound via Turner’s Pass and the Age Glacier.

Sutherland Falls

Sit back and enjoy the view as the helicopter flies you up the Arthur Valley following the famous Milford Track. Eventually you will land on the top of Sutherland Falls, 587 metres (1,926 feet) above the waters of Lake Quill. As you can imagine, the photo opportunities up there really are worth the trip, and the feeling is one you will remember forever.

After that you will cross the McKinnon Pass to view the Clinton Valleys and return to Milford Sound via the Joe’s Valley and Lake Ada.
